You’ll need: Potatoes, bacon, canola or vegetable oil, and cheese.
·
Preheat your oven to 350-400
·
Clean the potatoes that you want to use
·
Brush canola or vegetable oil all over the
potatoes and put them in the oven.
·
You’ll be leaving them in the oven for at least
30-40 minutes (Don’t forget to poke a hole all the way through each one or
you’ll be cleaning up a potato explosion.)
·
Get out your bacon and start frying it up.
·
When your potatoes get finished, you’ll let them
cool off for a few minutes.
·
Slice the potatoes into halves
·
Now, you’re going to scrape out the insides, but
still leave a nice amount of potato inside.
·
Do this to each potato, if you want you can save
the left over stuff for dinner the next day. Nothing wrong with leftovers!
·
Okay, now that you’re finished with that you
will be using your oil again to spread on the inside of the potatoes. This
helps them become a little crispy.
·
Place them back in the oven for about 10
minutes. After you’ve toasted them as crispy as you would like, remove them
from the oven and start adding your cheese and bacon. (Start cutting up your
bacon from earlier.)
·
Once again (And finally the last) let your
potatoes set in the oven until the cheese has melted and you have some of the
best goodness you’ll ever taste.
